Based in Bangkok, she leads Corporate Venture Capital and Internal Startup Program at SCG and is focused on adopting digital technology to improve customer experience and create new businesses in the new Digital Era.

Edmund Malesky is a Professor of Political Economy at Duke University. He is a specialist on Southeast Asia, especially Vietnam and his current research focuses on the intersection of Comparative and International Political Economy, falling into three major categories: 1) Authoritarian political institutions and their consequences; 2) The political influence of foreign direct investment and multinational corporations; and 3) Political institutions, private business development, and formalization.
Prior to his current role, he served as Assistant Professor at Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies and School of International Relations & Pacific Studies in University of California, San Diego. He was also a Board Member of the Vietnam Education Foundation where he oversaw scholarship allocation and financial commitments as the Chair of Finance Committee. He currently serves as Head of Research Team for Provincial Competitiveness Index at Vietnam Competitiveness Initiative. He holds a B.S.F.S. in Developmental Economics from Georgetown University and a Ph.D. in Political Economy from Duke University. |
Lando Tian is the Head of Lightspeed Studio at Tencent Games and is based in Santa Monica, CA. He leads Tencent’s Santa Monica game studio establishment and operation management. Previously, he founded Tencent Innovation Lab where he supported various AI projects and incubated future products/platform prototypes and proposals. He is a product creator, future innovator, entrepreneur, and business strategist on the semiconductor, mobile internet, AR/VR, and gaming industries.
Prior to his career at Tencent, he served as VP of Marketing at HTC where hhe led HTC China’s mobile services architecture group and SENSE China strategy. He also founded domob.cn, a mobile advertising network service firm, which was later acquired by Blue Focus in 2015. Dr. Jing Li has been an Investment Manager at DUMAC since 2008 where she oversees asset allocation and risk of $19 billion portfolio while managing currency trades and selecting investment managers particularly in Asia.
Previously, she was a TA Advisor at the Monetary and Capital Market Department of the International Monitory Fund (IMF) where she was leading the mission to assess various countries’ banking system in both developed market and emerging market. She also represented IMF to serve at Basel committee and participated drafting rules to assess member countries’ Basel implementation. Prior to joining the IMF, she served as Financial Economist at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) where she attended banking examination. She has also served as an independent consultant for Nippon Life Insurance Company, Center for Research in Advanced Financial Technology and Mathematical Systems Inc. in Tokyo before moving to the United States. |
